I was born in 1981 in a family where music has its own little warm place, between family clarinet and flute and a small collection of parental vinyls mixing Mozart, Georges Brassens and Touré Kunda.

I started music with the choir at 11 then with the saxophone which I began to study at 13, first in a small school of music in Haut-Saônoise then at the conservatory of Valence with Jean-Paul Bouvatier. His teaching and his love of pedagogy confirm my choice to become a musician.

In 1999, I left to study in Lyon between college and conservatory and obtained a DEUG in musicology at the University of Lyon 2 and my DEM in saxophone.

In 2002, I participated in the creation of the Grand Chahut Collectif, which brings together about fifteen musicians with multiple influences. Ranging from musette music to shows for young audiences, via improvised music, the various projects of Le Grand Chahut clearly express the variegated dimension of the proposals of its "heckling" musicians through writing, improvisation and experimentation.

In 2003 I went on a trip to Mali where I met musicians including Baye Diabaté whom I later joined in the Lanaya group (tours in France and Mali between 2006 and 2008)

In 2009, I formed the group Navasté, which allowed me to highlight my original compositions and arrangements.

In 2011 I created with Lionel Malric, Fred Galland, Stefan "Babou" Gueydan then Amanda Gardone the group Frisette. In 2018, I was asked by the Pépète Lumière festival to participate in the creation of the Akpé Jô Mimi project alongside the Beninese brass band Olaïtan. This musical ensemble is the surprising meeting of 7 musicians from the Beninese fanfare Olaïtan and 5 French improvising musicians. It is with this big band that I fly away at the beginning of 2020 for a tour in Benin between Cotonou and the International Festival of Porto-Novo.

In 2019, I am organizing the 10th anniversary of the Grand Bal des Cousins in order to relaunch this infernal orchestra initiated by Etienne Roche, around an eclectic repertoire of around thirty dance pieces, sprinkled with original compositions, musette standards and revisited choros, divinely orchestrated tangos, brassy milongas.

I regularly train in various artistic practices, between contemporary dance internship with Brigitte Fischer (cie les Furieuses, Toulouse) and MAO practice with Cubase 11.
